Colton pinched her cheek and asked, “Then why did you come to Bassburgh?”
“Why couldn’t I come to Bassburgh? What if you had already forgotten about me?”
Colton chuckled and hugged her tightly in his arms again. “There’s no way I can forget about you. Do
you know that I was so angry with you that I wanted to choke you to death that time?”
“I’ll sue you for domestic violence.”
He laughed and whispered into her ear, “Does it count when we’re in bed?”
Freyja beat him up out of exasperation. “What the hell are you talking about!?”
Colton ran around in the room and said, “Now you’re abusing me. Freyja. I’m going to shout if you don’t
stop now.”
She snorted angrily and threw a tissue box at him. “How can you be so shameless!?”
Suddenly, both of them heard Charm crying.They hastily went upstairs to the baby’s room and saw Charm crying while kicking.
