Many women became upset as Hayden approached Caroline.

Celine jumped out of nowhere and came in Hayden’s way. With a dazzling smile, Celine asked, “Mr.
Hayden, can I have this dance with you?”

Hayden solemnly refused, “I’m sorry, Ms. Celine. I have a dance partner.”

She then brushed past Celine and reached Caroline’s table in no time.

Caroline was in food heaven when she realized a lot of people were staring at her.

She picked her head up and met the gaze of Hayden who was standing before her.

Dumbstruck at first, Caroline then flashed her pearly whites at Hayden. “How can I help you, Mr.
Hayden?”

Kevin tagged along.

While Kevin sauntered past Celine, Celine tried to put her foot out to trip Kevin.

In Celine’s mind, Kevin was her strongest rival, and his gender did not matter. She wanted her rival to
trip and embarrass himself in public.

Alas, Celine underestimated her opponent and was too full of herself.

To think she would try to outsmart Kevin.

Picking up on Celine’s little scheme, Kevin pretended to stumble on his feet, but instead of falling
forward, he jumped and put Celine off her stride.

Thud!

Someone fell to the ground.

Celine lost her balance and fell over the back. Her legs were up in the air as her head hit the ground,
making a loud crash.

Everybody turned to the source of the noise.

Since Celine was wearing a gown, the fall did not do much for her modesty or pride. One of her heels
even flew off somewhere.

It was a scene that shocked everybody.

Kevin stood not too far away, looking rather in a daze.

Hayden did not see what went down as her eyes were on Caroline with her back facing Kevin.
Nevertheless, Caroline saw the whole thing.

Celine tried to trip Kevin, but Kevin pulled the same trick on her. It was not a pretty fall for sure. Celine
just made a fool out of herself.

Caroline secretly gave Kevin a big thumbs-up when Kevin looked over. It was the most awesome thing
ever.

Kevin’s eyes glistened. The true heiress of the Fishers was something else.

In fact, the heiress looked rather familiar… She shared similarities to Serenity.

Kevin was taken aback by the idea. Caroline bore some resemblance to Serenity, and it could
potentially be a weapon people would use against the Yorks if those with ill intentions realized it too.

“Celine.”

Emma cried before hurrying over to help Celine up.

Madam Fisher heard about the fall and drew close with another two daughters-in-law.

“What happened?” Madam Fisher sternly inquired.

Her eyes turned to her daughter who stood not too far away.

Caroline replied, “Don’t look at me, Mom. I was standing several feet away from Celine. I can’t kick that
far.”
