Old Master Quirke also had an ugly expression.

Quirke Enterprise had made a promise to Rosalie because she saved his life, but the promise was not
fulfilled. This felt as if a tight slap on his face!

‘Besides, Rosalie Jacobs is my savior! ’

“We must investigate this immediately! Find out who’s the one who disobeyed my orders!” The old
master was extremely angry.

Rosalie quickly comforted the old master after seeing him so mad. “old Master, I feel relieved since it’s
not your order. Please calm down. I’m not blaming you all. I just want to clarify the matter.”

Old Master Quirke took in a few deep breaths and said to Rosalie, “Even if the rest don’t bother about
this, this old man here will definitely seek justice for you! I’m here well and alive. I shall see who’s so
arrogant to disregard me! ”

Rosalie quickly nodded in agreement, what she wanted to say about Lawrence Corporation was still
lingering on her lips, but she ended up not saying it.

It seemed that Lawrence Corporation had not mentioned anything beforehand to the Quirke family. At
least Andrius and old Master Quirke did not know anything about this.

If she mentioned it out of nowhere, the two might change their minds for the sake of their relationship
with Lawrence Corporation.

Luckily, she brought up the topic in a more subtle way. Both Andrius and the old master did not
continue to pursue further.



The lunch went on with an unpleasant atmosphere because of whatever happened earlier.

After lunch, Rosalie did not stay longer and went back to the research institute after a quick goodbye.

Noticing her return, Yves quickly went forward as he came out of the experiment area. “How is it? what
did the Quirke family say?”

Rosalie looked more relieved compared to earlier. “I suppose it’s just some misunderstanding. Young
Master Quirke mentioned that he’ll look into it. Let’s just wait for now. Quirke Enterprise has the
medicinal materials we need. They’ll continue the supply after the matter is clarified.”

Yves was still suspicious about it. “Investigations take time. Aren’t you afraid that this is just their
excuse?”

Rosalie frowned and sounded helpless. “Do we have a better alternative? It’s too late to contact other
medicinal material suppliers from other cities. We can only place hope on Quirke Enterprise. Besides,
even if Andrius is using this as an excuse, we can still believe in Old Master Quirke’s promise.”

Hearing this, Yves let out a sigh of relief. “If it’s just a misunderstanding, then it’s fine. But if Quirke
Enterprise is also being threatened, there won’t be any medical material supplier in Coast City willing to
work with us.”

With the guarantee of Quirke Enterprise, the two were not as anxious as before.

Rosalie exchanged a few more words with Yves and went back to her office. After closing the door, her
expression sank gradually.

Melody wanted her to leave Coast city, but she did not know that Rosalie came back for this research
institute. She would never leave trouble behind and escape from this place as if it was nothing
important to her.



‘Now that I’ve resolved the issue regarding the research institute’s medicinal materials supplies, God
knows what Melody will do next…’

Plus, her number had been blocked by Melody. Even if she wanted to negotiate with her, she would not
have away.

Just as she was cracking her brain on this, Quentin called.

She quickly adjusted her emotions and picked up the call.

“Rosalie, how’s the situation on your side?” Quentin asked caringly. “I’m patiently waiting for your return
here. I have projects ready for you.”

From what he knew, the research institute had been getting back on track under her leadership. The
handove of work should not be a problem.

Hearing this, Rosalie felt guilty. “Teacher, I’m sorry. There have been some issues over here in the

research institute, I am afraid that I won’t be able to return early.”

Quentin frowned. “Do you need my help?”

Rosalie shook her head. “It’s fine. I can handle it. Let me settle it and contact you again.”

Quentin knew his own student well, so he did not pursue further and hung up the phone after advising
