It’s Yours

Nicole was not involved with the wedding arrangements and was shocked when she saw it. Even
though she had attended many elite weddings and had seen many customs of the gentry, she felt that

go and check it out! I heard that there’s a jadeite stone there. Didn’t you always like to collect these
things?” “Really?” Nicole’s eyes lit up. Yvette nodded.

“Why else would I be so excited to come to you?” Nicole could not help her curiosity and followed
Yvette over. The auction had already started, and their seats had long been reserved. The two ladies
sat down.



It was dark all around, and everyone was looking down a t the tablet’s screen to check on the bidding
from time to time. The atmosphere was quiet yet tense. Nicole took a look.

The bid for that piece o fjade had not started, but it would start soon. They were now bidding on
another item. The atmosphere was really tense. Yvette had a great eye. This piece of raw jadeite stone
was transparent and brilliant.

It was indeed a very rare gem. a The starting bid was $20 million, a price that was not considered low
which managed to deter a lot of people from taking a fancy to it. a However, to Nicole, that was nothing.

Thus, she did not hesitate to raise her bid. $21 million. $22 million Nicole did not make another move
after that and watched as the numbers on the screen changed rapidly.

In the blink of an eye, it had reached $35 million. Nicole placed another bid for $40 million. This price
was already not low. If it went any higher, Nicole felt it was not worth the price. After all, this kind of raw
stone was beautiful, but she could do without it.

Fortunately, no one raised the bid again. Yvette looked at Nicole excitedly from the side. “Awesome! It’s
yours!” Nicole laughed. She could not hide her happiness and curled her lips. She was thinking of what

Nicole already had an idea. She swept a glance at the next few bids and did not like anything she saw,
so she just gave up. She took her bag and was ready to go to the back to make the payment.

the person at the auction house recognized her and smiled. “Congratulations, Ms. Stanton.” Nicole
nodded and said with a smile, Thank you.”
