He Can’t Compare to You

The secretary smiled and dared not offend Nathaniel.

Thus, he could only nod his head and tell Mitchell.

Mitchell came out of the office not long after.

Nathaniel smiled.

"Mitchell, it’s so much better to see you.Look, it won’t be a loss for my friend to be my second uncle's
secretary, right?"

Mitchell politely glanced at the girl behind Nathaniel and smiled.

"Young Master Nathaniel, you must be joking."

Mitchell’s smile was perfunctory.

Those who were qualified to be Eric’s secretary were picked from the best talent in the country.

How could they possibly arrange a stranger to work in Ferguson Corporation so simply and serve as
Eric’s secretary? It was too ridiculous.

However, considering Nathaniel’s identity, Mitchell could not say it so frankly.

Nathaniel paused.

"Tell my second uncle that I want to see him.I wanna tell him personally."

Mitchell hesitated but nodded.



"Wait a moment.I'll check if his meeting is over." Nathaniel nodded.

Mitchell left.

Nathaniel smiled at Yasmin.

"Don’t worry.It’ll definitely work if I ask my uncle."

Yasmin nodded.

Not long after, Mitchell came out.

"Young Master Nathaniel, please come in."

Nathaniel took Yasmin into Eric’s office.

At first glance, Yasmin saw Eric sitting there.

Eric was calm, restrained, and mysterious.He was clearly unattainable, but when he looked at
Nathaniel, his coldness seemed to fade a little.

"what are you trying to do?" Eric said.

Nathaniel leaned in.

"Second Uncle, this is my friend, Yasmin.She’s all alone, so she’ll get bullied wherever she goes to
work.I want her to stay with you..."

"No..."

Eric refused decisively and looked at the woman opposite him with dark eyes.



Yasmin lowered her head cautiously.She blushed with embarrassment from Eric’s scrutiny.She looked
like a fresh graduate who just entered the workforce.

Eric glanced at Yasmin nonchalantly and lowered his eyes.

"If she can’t find work anywhere, perhaps she should be reflecting on herself."

Everyone in the office was shocked for a moment when they heard this.

Yasmin raised her head in shock.Eric said mercilessly, "In that case, I won’t accept useless people."

Nathaniel frowned felt that Eric’s words were really harsh.

"Second Uncle, you can take her in and let her do some chores.Any simple work will do.She’ll do her
best!"

Eric gave him a cold look.

"Even your father doesn’t dare to arrange his people by my side.Are you looking for a beating?"

Eric’s voice was cold, so Nathaniel knew he was angry.

Nathaniel paused, gritted his teeth, and said, "I’m not arranging a spy.I couldn’t bear to let her do such
tough work.I just want to protect her.Second Uncle, I like her!"

Eric raised his dark eyes slightly with a bit of surprise.

Nathaniel gritted his teeth, lowered his voice, and said, "You didn’t agree with me being with Livia last
time.I’ve already listened to you then.Can’t I like someone? Do you want to destroy every relationship
that I have?"

After Nathaniel finished speaking, he looked at Eric with red eyes.



Eric gave him a deep look and looked away casually.He paused, opened his mouth, and looked at
Yasmin.

"What are you good at?"

Nathaniel looked at Yasmin excitedly and gave her a wink.

Yasmin paused, then answered hesitantly.

"I can clean, make tea and coffee, and...Babysit children." Eric frowned.

"Go out and wait for the news." He said coldly.

Yasmin shivered as if she was frightened.

Eric frowned tightly as he watched her flee.

Nathaniel glanced at Eric reproachfully.

"Second Uncle, don’t be so fierce.You’ll scare her!"

Eric glanced at him.

"So I still need to be nice to her?" Nathaniel lowered his voice.

"I just want you to be more gentle."

"Are you serious about her?" Eric asked him.

Nathaniel pursed his lips.

"Nothing is set in stone.If everything works well, I might marry her.Second Uncle, you have to believe in
love at first sight.I thought I wouldn’t fall in love again.It took me along time to forget about Livia.I fell in



love with Yasmin with just one glance.Do you believe it? As soon as I saw her, I felt so regretful that I
didn’t meet her sooner.Her innocent eyes are so attractive to me!"

Eric frowned.

"Don’t disgust me.Get out!"

"What about Yasmin..."

"I have my own arrangements."

"Sure! Thank you, Uncle Eric!"

Nathaniel went over to hug Eric excitedly and wanted to jump in joy, only to be frightened by Eric’s cold
and stern eyes.He smiled.

"By the way, I just had dinner with Nikki and bumped into Clayton.Don’t worry, he’s not as good as
you!"

Eric’s face became darker and colder.

"Get out!"

"Okay! I'll get out now!"

Nathaniel went out excitedly and saw Yasmin standing in the corner, looking enviously at other people
working.

"Yasmin..."



Yasmin paused, looked at him, and said, "It’s okay.Even if your second uncle doesn’t agree, I'll just find
a job elsewhere.I'll leave Atlanta once I find my brother."

"What are you talking about? I said to leave it to me! My second uncle agreed to keep you!" Nathaniel
said quickly.

Yasmin’s eyes lit up.

"Really?"

Nathaniel nodded immediately.

"He has his own arrangements, so you just need to listen to him.But if he makes you do heavy work,
don’t agree to it and tell me.I’ll stand up for you!"

Yasmin smiled.

"Don’t worry.I'll persevere.I never dreamed that I could come to work here.It’s all thanks to you,
Nathaniel.Thank you!"

Nathaniel looked at her and smiled.He felt great satisfaction in his heart as if he was enchanted.

"Go in then.Call me if you need anything."

Yasmin nodded.

"Okay, you can go first.I’ll treat you to a meal later!"

Nathaniel walked away with a silly smile on his face.

Yasmin took a deep breath and knocked on the door again.



"Mr.Ferguson, I’m Yasmin."

"Come in."

The people from the secretarial department saw Nathaniel bringing in this girl.They were suddenly a
little puzzled and looked at him weirdly.

"Young Master Nathaniel never lacked women.This girl is just average-looking.Why is he so obsessed
with her?"

"Yeah, he even arranged for her to work with Mr.Ferguson.This is such a huge favor! Young Master
Nathaniel has never bowed to Mr.Ferguson!"

"Young Master Nathaniel doesn’t look right.His gaze is a little off n "Right.This woman won't be sent to
our department, right?"

Soon after, Mitchell was called in.He looked at the girl Nathaniel had left behind and was also very
surprised.

Eric pointed at the woman in front of him.
