“Finn, I will give you one last chance. Tell me what happened.”
Lilia walked to the hospital bed and looked down at her boyfriend who had been in love with her for so
long.
She grew up with him and knew him well. She was still unwilling to believe that he had lied to her.
She would rather lie to herself and believe that he did that for some reason.
“Lilia, give me some time. I will let you know the truth.”
“I want to know now. Otherwise, we will break up now,” Lilia said resolutely.‘
“Lilia, just give me a break. I did that for some reason.”
Finn reached out to grab his girlfriend’s hand, but she dodged.
Lilia retreated in despair, tears flowing out of her eyes. Tears left tracks on her fair and smooth face.
“Finn, since you refuse to say anything, let’s break up.”
After saying this, Lilia turned and ran out, not giving Finn, who was on the bed, any chance to stop her.
“Lilia, don’t go!” Finn struggled to sit up from the bed. The feeling of exhaustion made him helpless.
He wanted to chase after her, but he didn’t even have the strength to get out of bed.
His strength was only enough for him to reach out and overturn the instruments by the bed. The
expensive electronic monitoring device was smashed on the ground, making a crackling sound.“Mr. Orwell, are you alright?”
Darwin, who had been waiting outside, immediately ran in when he heard the sound from inside.
Especially when he saw the mess on the ground, he thought that Finn had fallen and immediately ran
up to check on him.
“Are you all right? Did you get hurt?”

down.
“She’s gone. Follow her out and take a look. Don’t let her do anything crazy,” Finn said anxiously.

“Mr. Orwell, don’t worry. I’ll go take a look now.” Darwin immediately chased out.
But a moment later, he quickly returned. “Mr. Orwell, I didn’t see Ms. Parsons. Why don’t I go to the
monitoring room to check the surveillance?”
“Forget it. That would be too much. You are so busy as the director. You don’t have to worry about me.
You can leave.”
Knowing that he was in a bad mood, Darwin did not dare to stay and respectfully left the ward.
As soon as Darwin went out, he took out his phone from his white coat and called the expert he knew.“Hello, I heard that you have been studying the treatment of blood cancer recently. Have made a
breakthrough?”

After the calls, Darwin sighed in the empty corridor.

walked back to the office.
“Dr. Sharp, someone is waiting for you in the office.” Passing by the nurse station, he heard the head
nurse report.
Darwin frowned and asked who it was.

open the back door for others. There were very few people looking for him.
“It’s a woman. You know her, anyway. You’ll know when you see her,” the head nurse said awkwardly.

office.
When he opened the door and saw the person sitting on the sofa, he was immediately shocked. “Ms.
Parsons, why are you here?”“I originally wanted to talk to you, but the head nurse refused to let me in. So I had to say that I was
your girlfriend. Then she let me in.”
Lilia smiled indifferently, completely not caring if these words would ruin her reputation.

“I am already single now. I can do whatever I want. I can date whomever I want. No one can control
me.” Lilia smiled.
Darwin remembered the mess in the ward just now and immediately realized the problem. “You and Mr.
Orwell…”
“We broke up,” Lilia said resolutely.
“Why?” Darwin frowned and asked in confusion, “Why? You two were so close.”
“That was the past. Now that he has something to hide from me, we separated due to the great
estrangement between us.”

Darwin’s office?

likes you.”

Darwin knew what to say and what not to say. He was a soft–hearted person, but his mouth was very
tight.

“Alright. Since that’s the case, pass him a message.” Lilia stretched out to wipe the tears and stopped
smiling.
“What? Ms. Parsons, you won’t do anything stupid, will you?” Darwin asked.
