Chapter 319

Outside the window, the sunlight penetrated the clouds and shone into the room, bright and dazzling.

Savanna opened her eyes. Brandon was no longer by her side. She reached out and touched the
lingering warmth on the pillow, which showed that everything last night was not a dream. It was all real.

It was Neil. “One of the men being kicked into the river by Mr. Young last night went to the South Court
Clinic after he got up. After he left the clinic, I went in and asked the doctor. The doctor said that the
man was called Byron Ross. He was cut in the hand some time ago and came to change the
medication in the past two days.

“I just called to ask Jim. Jim said that during the chaos, he cut the arm of a masked man at the foot of
Spiritual Mountain. I checked it and found that Byron’s wound was at the same place as where Jim cut
the masked man. I suspect that the people who attacked Mr. Young should be Rafael’s people.”

Rafael. Savanna thought about this name. Recently, his name is frequently mentioned.

Savanna went downstairs after reading the message.



In the dining room, there was breakfast prepared.

But only for one.

Since she couldn’t find Brandon, she took out her phone and called Brandon. No one answered the
phone. Savanna looked out of the window. In the courtyard, there was a black Bentley. The car number
was unfamiliar, and Brandon didn’t have such a car. Savanna walked out of the dining room and
subconsciously looked at the second floor. The door of the study was closed, and there were
conversations coming from inside.

She was so dead asleep that she didn’t even know that someone had come.

Savanna was about to turn around and walk back to the dining room when the door suddenly sounded.
She looked back and saw the door of the study open and close. The man who came out was wearing a
red suit and a white shirt. He looked a little flashy. Standing in the corner under the eaves, he tilted his
head and lit a cigarette. The flame lit up his face. From the angle where Savanna stood, she could
vaguely see the red print on his left cheek, which was like a palm print. Feeling that someone was
looking at him, the man looked up and met Savanna’s probing gaze. The man was stunned. Suddenly,
he reacted, and a look of joy appeared on his face. Then, he extinguished the flames and crushed the
cigarette that had not been lit, and threw it into the trash can.

The man quickly went downstairs and walked towards Savanna.

Savanna stood there with a smile, She crossed her arms and waited quietly. The man tidied his hair
and managed a smile. He said with embarrassment, “Mrs. Young, I’m sorry. I didn’t mean it.”

Hearing Rafael’s apology, Savanna did not accept it. Her pink lips were tightly pursed, and she was
silent.



Rafael was not stupid. He had just been spoiled by Ashley and developed a domineering personality,
so he looked down on everything

And this time… It was obvious that he had caused big trouble.

“I’m not targeting you. That slut Mia is too much, so…”

talking to Shelton.

When Fabian heard that, his smile froze on his lips. Fabian suddenly realized the position of Savanna

and Savanna.

“Alright.” Rafael let go as it to prove that he was very obedient. He raised his hands and smiled, “Mrs.
Young, as long as you don’t sue me, I can do anything for you.”

Savanna thought about it and said to him, “Come with me.”

In order to get rid of the kidnapping case, Rafael followed Savanna out of the villa.

Rafael lowered his head and lit up his cigarette. After taking in two puffs of smoke, he said indifferently,
“It wasn’t Mia, nor was it me. I have no enmity with Shelton. Why would I kill him? Before I kidnapped
you, I didn’t even know your husband.”

This reason was far-fetched.

Savanna found Neil and asked Neil, “Neil, did the one who was kicked into the river by Mr. Young go to
the South Court Clinic to change medication yesterday?”

“Yes.”

Savanna showed a sly smile. “Where is his injury?”

Neil said, “On his left arm. The wound is very new. It should have been injured not long ago. When Mr.
Young went to Spiritual Mountain to find medicine for you, they attacked him. Jim cut a masked man at
the same place where Byron was hurt,”

Savanna looked at Rafael with sparks in her eyes. “Mr. Rafael, what else do you have to say?”
