Chapter 8: She Wants Revenge!

Caroline's eyes instantly widened in shock as her entire body trembled in guilt, "You said what?"

"Unfortunately, she was cremated so quickly that even the traces of it disappeared.But, do you have
the money and ability to sue me?" Riane asked in a mocking tone.

"Oh, I forgot to tell you! I was very generous for giving my husband to your sister.It was a pity that my
husband fell asleep and called her by your name."

Caroline felt as if a basin of icy water had been poured down her spine after hearing what Riane had
just said.She was so furious.She couldn't think of anything else except for her guilt and desperation to
turn the woman in front of her into pieces.

"You!"

Caroline raised her hand unconsciously and was about to slap Riane, but before her hand could even
land, it was captured by a man.She turned her eyes and met Aldrich's furious eyes.

"Caroline, that's enough!" He said coldly with a firm grip on her wrist.

He tightened his grip so she couldn't move and touch him.

Caroline stared at him for a moment.

Guilt began to rise inside of her once again.

‘How could he humiliate my sister like this?’ She bit on her lip in frustration, "Aldrich, you beasts!
What's wrong with you? Why did you treat my sister as if she was your toy?"

Caroline shouted at the top of her lungs, "If you wanted to kill me then kill me.But why does it have to
be my sister? Why are you so heartless? She's innocent!"



"What?"

Aldrich gave her a confused look and was about to ask what those words meant.

But Riane interrupted their conversation and said casually, "Honey, let's not waste our time talking to
this madwoman.I heard that she even seduced doctors in the hospital to pay off some bills.How
disgusting."

Aldrich's eyes instantly surged with disgust after Riane spoke.He couldn't believe what he just heard.

Because of that, he shook Caroline's hand away with force.

"Fuck off!" he said.

Caroline couldn't take it any longer and collapsed to the ground.

But as long as the couple got back into their car, they drove away as if nothing had happened.

Caroline clenched her fists with her eyes filled with hatred.She had nothing left now.She wanted to kill
them with a desire to avenge her sister, but she couldn't think of a plan.

But at this moment, her phone in her pocket suddenly rang.She didn't want to take it, but her phone
kept ringing, which irritated her.She picked it up and was about to hang up when she saw that it was
from a personal number.Her stare stopped for a moment as an idea slipped in her mind.She answered
the call to make sure, and she was right.

It was the owner of the pawnshop she had met the last time she traded her mother's ring for money.But
now that her sister was gone, she could no longer put the money to use.

"Caroline, it's me" The man's voice was deep and very pleasant as if he was whispering to her ears.



Before Caroline could even finish her sentence, she was interrupted by him, "Sir, my sister just died.So,
about our deal-"

"Are you saying that because your sister is no longer alive, you no longer have the reason to fight? If
that were the case, even if she hadn't died and were still alive, she would most likely be disappointed in
you.Am I right?"

"How did you know?" Caroline asked confused as she struggled to get up from the ground.

Instead of answering her, he dodged the question as he spoke once again.

"Didn't you ever think of avenging her?" The man asked with a seductive tone in his voice.

Indeed, his voice was very accommodating and attractive, but it wasn't time for such a thing.

He couldn't change the fact that the girl's heart was filled with anger at the moment.

"Of course.I've thought about it!"

Caroline looked at the villa in the distance.

"I will kill them both.The man couldn't help but smirk at the girl's determination."

Is that so? You will kill them and suffer with them? Then there's no need for you to express your
grievances to your sister, Caroline's heart skipped a beat as the man continued to talk.

"What if you can prove that your sister's death wasn't due to an accident, but because of someone
else's recklessness? And, what if you can make the two of them beg for their lives for the rest of their
lives?"The man had a point.



But Caroline couldn't think of anything else and was hoping that he could assist her in obtaining justice
for her sister, so she asked him right away, "Sir, what do you have in mind?"

"It's the same thing.Just agree to my request and I swear, I will help you with all of these to solve the
case of your sister." The man's voice was calm, with unquestionable certainty.

Caroline heaved a sigh of relief before she replied, "Then it's settled.As long as you can help me, I am
willing to agree to anything you ask me to do."

After losing her only hope, she would definitely trade with this mysterious person in exchange for her
sister's peace.

"Very good” The man said.

"Meet me at the old place.I'll wait for you."

Caroline hung up the phone and went straight to the villa.It was still the same as last time.So quiet and
dim.

As she pushed open the door, there was no trace of light in the room.

Only a figure of the man stood in the middle of it.She did not hesitate and slowly got rid of her top
before taking off the rest of her clothes.
