Chapter 12: Did You Have Sexual Intercourse?

The video was particularly clear since it was from a different angle.

After George walked out of the elevator and brushed past Charlene, he went to the front desk to do
business.

One of the close-ups showed the mark on the back of Mr.George's hand.

"Your honor, I still have Mr.George's entry and exit records in Canada, as well as the hotel records."

The lawyer said and handed over the evidence, "Mr.George came to City A for the first time that day"

Riane couldn't sit still after hearing this and felt uneasy.She frowned at her lawyer once more, as
though she was trying her hardest to think.

"Mr.George, I'd like to ask you a few questions" The judge said.

"Sure, your honor’ George said and nodded.

"Have you seen the girl in the video?" The judge asked.

"I'd remember seeing her before because it was my first time in City A.Plus, she's a special girl, so I'll
remember her."

Mr.George remarked, "She's frail, dressed in a hospital gown and walks as if she'll fall over at any
moment.I'm a doctor so I can tell that she's sick and has a lung condition just by looking at her"

"Do you think you mistook Miss Caroline for Miss Charlene? Let's suppose that the girl in the hospital
gown you saw that time was this plaintiff..." The judge asked.

"No."



George affirmed, "I've been a doctor for more than twenty years and I can tell if someone is sick just by
looking at them.If the plaintiff had not been sick, no matter how believable her disguise was, she could
not have deceived my eyes."

Everyone's expressions changed all of a sudden.It turned out that Charlene had really been to the hotel
and met Aldrich.

‘There seems to be no need to guess what Aldrich and Charlene had done in the hotel room!’ The
plaintiff's lawyer then turned to Aldrich and said, "Mr.Stanley, the question is the same as before.What
did you and Miss Charlene do in the room?"

Aldrich's expression was terrible.He clenched his fists and remained silent.His lawyer said, "My client
.."

"Mr.Stanley, please answer directly."

The plaintiff's lawyer interrupted.

The veins on Aldrich’s forehead became more evident but he still answered, "I thought it was Caroline
with me in the room.I thought it was her who came looking for me"

"So, did the both of you had sexual intercourse?" The plaintiff's lawyer added.

"We already had that kind of relationship" Aldrich replied as he averted his gaze.

"Please answer my question directly"

The lawyer's expression was cold and he said, "Did you had sexual intercourse?"

"Yes,'' Aldrich said, clenching his teeth.

Immediately, the court was in an uproar.



"You and Miss Riane were already married at the time but you had sexual intercourse with Miss
Charlene even after the wedding."

The plaintiff's lawyer asked, "Can I take it then that you have no moral bottom line?"

Aldrich almost couldn't sit still, his breathing rapid, and he coldly said, "I drank wine and felt
uncomfortable all over, so I couldn't control myself”

Everyone in the court couldn't help but be shocked by the turn of events.

‘Why was Aldrich unable to control himself at that time? What was wrong with the wine?’

"Next, I have summoned the hotel waiter to testify." The plaintiff's lawyer added.

Soon after, a young man walked into the court.

Riane's expression drastically changed when she saw the young man.

"Your name is Andy Davids, isn't it?"

After the other party took the witness oath, the plaintiff's lawyer asked, "Have you seen the defendant?"

Andy looked at the dock.

He hesitated for a moment when he saw Aldrich, "I might have seen him but I'm not sure"

After saying that, he then turned his gaze to Riane.

"I've seen Miss Lewis before," he said, looking at her.

Editor's Comment: I'm curious as to why the hotel waiter, Andy, looked at Riane as if there's something
they're hiding.
