All of them ate to celebrate that day, but since none of them could drink, Molly prepared beverages for them.
When Brycen knew that Sean had tried to stand up, his face was covered in jealousy.
"It would be nice if I could stand too..." Brycen stroked his legs, which were not as serious as Sean's as there were still senses
there.
"I wonder if I could try standing up tomorrow..." Brycen mumbled to himself. He wanted to give it a try as well.
"Don't even think about it. If Molly didn't allow it, just wait. You won't like it if your condition gets worse." Grandpa Dave
immediately put an end to Brycen's fantasy.
He thought back about how disobedient Brycen was as a child and continued, "When your legs recovered, you are not allowed to
race anymore. Just stay at home, and I'll get your brother to find you a position in the company. You'll be working there every day,
you hear me?"
Grandpa Dave was old. He did not ask for his grandchildren to be by his side, but he hoped that they
could all be safe and healthy.
"You've got to love yourself, what's going to happen if you get into an accident again? oh, Brycen,
you're getting older now. You should marry someone and start a family."
Grandpa Dave urged him.
Brycen quickly covered his ears and said, "Racing is my wife. Don’t separate US, grandpa!"
In an instant, everyone looked at Brycen with disdain."Uncle Brycen, although it's every boy's dream to race, racing can never be our aunt." Alex looked at
Brycen with a complicated look.
Claudia nodded. "That's right, Uncle Brycen. Racing doesn't know how to cook for you and can't play
with you. Racing can't tell you stories too."
"Uncle Brycen, people always say that old people are wise, and we should listen to them. We should
listen to great-grandpa’s advice."
Everyone was nagging at Brycen and Molly could not help but laugh when she saw that he was being
ganged up on.
Their dinner ended in a relaxed and merry atmosphere.
Molly made tea for everyone in the living room, and Grandpa Dave invited Sean to play chess with him.
Then, Molly's phone rang, she looked at her phone and saw that Benjamin was calling her. So, she
immediately answered the call.
"Good news, Molly. I've decided to start my own research institute. Do you want to be my business
partner?" Benjamin asked freely.
However, he was the only one who knew how nervous he was before he called Molly.
"Your own institute? That's great. Congratulations." Molly was shocked, but she did not feel anything when she heard Benjamin's
offer and plans for his research institute.
She just felt that it was nothing to be happy about.
"Sorry, Benjamin. I think you should find someone else."Her straightforward rejection was out of Benjamin's expectations.
"Why?" Benjamin held his phone tighter, and his heart stopped beating when he heard Molly's response.
Molly replied, "I'm going to work somewhere else, so I can't work with you."
Although Molly said that she was still considering Sean's offer, she was already leaning toward accepting his offer.
