Molly said mildly, "I'm fine. Thanks for your concern."
Sean saw them exchanging the usual pleasantries and said gently, "All right, so don't stand. Molly,
have your teacher sit down.”
Immediately, Molly had Jadon seated down.
Then, Jadon looked at Sean and smiled, "Glad to officially see you, Sean."
"It’s my honor. Nice to meet you, Mr. Scott."
Sean held the chair out for Molly and helped her sit. "Mr. Scott, I'm really thank you for going out of
your way to attend my engagement with Molly."
"It’s no trouble at all. And it's my pleasure. Molly and I scarcely ever meet. How could I miss my
student's engagement?" Jadon laughed.
Jadon was quite a chatty person. And Sean, as a man of great knowledge, covered a wide range of
subjects, including medical science.
Later, they were deep in conversation.
Sean was thoughtful. He took care of Molly, though he was absorbed in the conversation.
Jadon was quite critical, but Sean happened to hit his fancy.
'This guy is excellent indeed. He deserves his fame!'No wonder he can capture my best student's heart.'
"You're really something, Mr. Anderson. What a professional opinion you have! I almost thought you
were a medical expert!"
Lynn praised as she ate.
Actually, she already regarded him as Molly's husband.
Sean smiled and touched Molly's head, "Probably because I spent so much time with Dr. May."
Molly looked at Sean and smiled, her eyes crinkling.
Everyone saw their saccharine moves.
When Eaton saw this, a surge of hatred flowed through his blood.
Instead of showing it, he tried to be urbane, "Rumour has it that Mr. Anderson is a genius. If you were
in the medical profession, you'd be great too."
Then his tone shifted, "Unfortunately, you're not. As the saying goes, the difference in the profession
makes one feel worlds apart. Mr. Anderson’s opinion is actually far from professional."
Suddenly, there was some serious tension in the air.
Everyone understood Eaton's implicature.
Lynn and Caitlyn were astonished.
And surprise registered on their face.
