When Lynn heard the two names, she suddenly furrowed her brows. There was an obvious sense of
disdain in her eyes.
She looked at Molly and wanted to say something.
However, the expression on Molly's face didn't change, so in the end, she could only give up.
In the afternoon, the whole research and development team was checking their data and the
ingredients of Reagent Three.
Molly had been keeping an eye on everything throughout the whole process as well. She was so busy
that she even forgot about dinner.
However, none of her hard work had gone to waste.
In the end, Molly and Lynn were able to confirm where the problem was.
"Looks like this medicinal ingredient is the one that's causing the failure of Reagent Three. However,
why is it causing such a problem? Could it be that the ingredient isn't pure enough?" asked Lynn whilst
stroking her chin.
Molly looked at the different data in her hand and said, "No, the samples we used were already in their
purest state. I've taken a detailed look at everything. I think the problem's caused by the incompatibility
of the medicine's effects. When this medicinal ingredient reaches a certain purity, it will become
incompatible with other medicinal ingredients. Therefore, the final result I've come to is to change this
medicinal ingredient to something else.""Huh?" After Lynn heard Molly's conclusion, she couldn't help but feel puzzled. "Change the ingredient?
That means we need to change the ratio and amount of the other ingredients used.
Wouldn't that make all our hard work previously go to waste?"
"We have no other choice. If we don't start from the beginning, then we will make no progress in this
research. Therefore, I'll leave this to you. I'll get Selina to help you. As for which medicinal ingredient to
use as a replacement, I'll need to reconfirm that myself."
With that said, Molly put down the data sheet in her hand and massaged her temples. "Let's call this a
day. We'll start working on it tomorrow morning."
"Okay."
Lynn had no objections.
Molly's job was most difficult than any of theirs.
Lynn knew she was in no position to complain.
When Molly came out of the lab, she went straight to her office and got changed.
The phone in her bag had a few missed calls. They were from Sean. There were also a few text
messages.
Molly smiled as she replied to the text messages. "I've been busy. I'm about to head back home right
now."
Sean’s reply came very quickly. "Okay, I'll be waiting for you at home."
When Molly arrived back home, Lynsey had already prepared quite a lot of dishes for dinner.Sean was waiting for her in the living room.
When he saw that Molly had arrived back home, he went and led her to the dining room for dinner.
During the whole meal, the only thing Molly could think about was what medicinal ingredient to use as a
replacement. This caused Molly to be distracted throughout the meal.
Sean watched as Molly fed herself a few spoons of thin air. He reached out and knocked on her
forehead lightly. "Would thin air fill your stomach?"
Molly came back to her senses and realized how embarrassing she was.
"I didn't do it on purpose. I have something on my mind."
Sean looked at her face and could roughly guess what Molly had on her mind. "The research and
development aren't going very well?"
"Yeah. It could be said that we've failed. The medicinal ingredients aren't exactly right and would need
replacing," Molly said honestly.
Sean got the point and comforted her in a low voice. "I won't be of any help for that, but it's out of
working hours right now. You need to give your mind a rest. You might be able to come up with a
solution soon. Don't put yourself under too much pressure, alright? 11
Molly knew that Sean cared about her, so she nodded. "I know, but I just can't help myself."
"Really? Then, I'll find something for you to do."
With that said, Sean took out his phone and opened the chat window. "My mom has just sent me this.
She said that she's picked a few sites for the engagement party, but nothing has been set at the
moment. She wants to know if you have any opinions or suggestions."
