Alice brought breakfast to visit Joelle. She thought her son would be there, so she brought breakfast for two.
Unexpectedly, she saw Joelle alone when she entered the ward. A hint of surprise could be seen on her fair, well-maintained,
and wealthy-looking face. "Joelle, where's Sean?"
"Mrs. Anderson, you're here." Joelle sat up on her bed immediately as she heard the voice. She said in a polite and gentle tone,
"Sean went back last night."
"What? I thought I asked him to stay with you."
Alice’s expression suddenly changed. Her arched eyebrows showed that she was displeased.
But, Joelle simply smiled, she intentionally defended Sean, "Mrs. Anderson, I asked Sean to go back. He was very tired from
work. Moreover, he is in a wheelchair. How could he rest if he stays with me? And, Ms. May came over last night. How can I ask
Sean and Ms. May to stay here with me?"
She was gentle and humble as she said that, she displayed signs of being understanding and ladylike.
But to Alice, it was a large amount of information to be processed in what Joelle said!
"Ms. May came here last night?"
"Ah... I'm sorry, Mrs. Anderson. I've talked too much."

"Joelle, stop talking."Alice immediately stopped Joelle from talking, she impolitely asked her son, "Sean, are you disobeying your mother now?
"Joelle overworked herself yesterday. As her boss, you didn't even take good care of her. It's perfectly justified for me to ask you
to stay with her at the hospital. Why didn't you listen?"
Sean remained silent for a long time as he heard her mother ask him that aggressively. He rubbed his temple, as he was irritated.
After his mother finished talking, he replied coldly, "Mom, if it really doesn't work out, let Ms. Herring go back. Don't come to the
Anderson Corporation. The Anderson Corporation can't look after her."
"Sean, what did you just say?"
Alice replied unhappily, she was on speaker, and Joelle was heartbroken when she heard that.
