When Molly concluded this, she stopped and stood up.

‘Why would his parents visit him at such an hour?’

Very quickly, she thought of the young lady who came to see Sean two days ago. “Dad, mom, why are
you here?” Sean was stunned too. Both parties exchanged glances and Molly stood aside. That was
the moment when Ricky and Alice realized that things were not what they expected after seeing what
Molly was blocking them from seeing. Ricky pushed the door open, and their field of vision expanded.
Alice was finally relieved. “Thank God, thank God!’

“Thank God it was just us overthinking.’

They were both from the upper-class society, so they had seen their fair share of grand occasions.

“This is?” Alice’s focus was obviously on Molly. While she was asking Sean, her eyes were busy

rarely found women to look this breathtakingly lovely. She instantly understood the reason that Abigail
felt threatened by Molly. “This is Dr. May, a doctor that I specifically hired. She had been treating me
recently,” Sean explained to his parents. ‘Our son hired her personally.’ Ricky and Alice let out a sigh of
relief as they thought, ‘Thank God she’s not a random, messed -up woman.’

Without their crazy assumptions, their attitude toward Molly became more respectful after knowing that
she was a doctor who could treat their son’s legs.

“Good evening,” Molly said to them. She was polite but did not sound intimated in the very least. She
looked natural and her tone had the right amount of formality.



“Oh, Dr. May is treating you. Your father and I saw the two of you leaning very close to each other.
What kind of treatment are you undergoing?” Alice smiled and asked as she brought up the incident
where they misunderstood them.

Molly was a little confused when she heard her. ‘Were we that close?’

However, she still explained patiently, “Mr. Anderson hadn’t worked his legs for a long time, so the
massage has to be incorporated into the treatment plan to improve his circulation and to prevent his
muscles from shrinking.”
