Chapter 1563
After moving home, Molly packed her room simply before going to the underground research base.
However, just as she arrived at the store above the underground research base, she suddenly felt that
someone was watching her from behind.
Molly stopped walking, frowned and turned to look back.
There weren't many people on the streets and nothing seemed out of place.
Molly wondered if it was just her imagination.
However, she kept getting the feeling that something wasn't right.
She looked around her and only walked into the store when she saw that nothing was wrong.
Meanwhile, on the other side of the street, a person walked out from behind the billboard. It was Eaton.
He wore a cap, face mask and sunglasses. He was completely disguised so that no one could see his
face.
At that moment, his dark eyes were locked in the direction that Molly had just gone in.
The store wasn't big and even looked a little old. From the looks of the store, it wasn't somewhere
special.
In the past, he had gone in before and it was just a normal store. However, whenever Molly went inside, she would spend a whole day in there. Eaton knew that there
had to be something special about the store.
He guessed that this was the place where Kara was kept hidden.
With that thought in mind, a sneer appeared on Eaton’s face. His lips parted and he mumbled, "Molly,
you want to save Sean, but you have to get my permission first!"
Thinking back to the torture he had suffered recently, his heart was filled with hatred.
'Molly, I'll pay Sean back the pain that I've suffered tenfold!' Eaton exclaimed inwardly.
Eaton's eyes were dark and as he took one last look at the store. He then turned and left.
Molly walked into the research lab and her eyelids began jumping.
She subconsciously wanted to raise her hand to press down on her eyelid.
A bad feeling arose in her heart.
Mr. Ballard saw the state Molly was in and asked with concern, "Hey, Molly, why are you pressing down
on your eye?"
Molly lowered her hand and blinked her eyes. "Nothing. It's just that my right eyelid just suddenly
started jumping. I don't know why."
Mr. Ballard smiled when he heard those words. "You're not superstitious, are you?"
Molly looked at him but didn't say anything.
"I know you've been under a lot of pressure lately. It's probably because you haven't had a good night's
rest. Don't be so worried...-Mr. Ballard tried comforting Molly for a while and then gave her something to do to keep her distracted.
Molly hoped that the jumping of her eyelid was because she didn't sleep well as well.
However, for the next few days, her right eyelid kept on jumping. It was as if her eyelid had gone out of
control.
The unease she was feeling grew stronger and stronger.
"How come you've been so uneasy recently? What's wrong?" asked Sean as he spotted something
was wrong with Molly.
"Nothing. I just keep getting the feeling that something bad was about to happen," replied Molly.
Sean raised his hand to gently massage Molly's temples." It's probably because you haven't had a
good night's rest.
You've been too busy lately."
"Yeah, probably." Molly nodded.
Sean pinched her nose and smiled dotingly. "Since you haven’t had a good night's rest, then get some
rest for the next couple of days and don't wear yourself too much."
Molly thought about it and felt that Sean had a point. She couldn’t focus on her job, so she might as
well get some time off.
"Alright, I'll do as you say."
With that, Molly gave Mr. Ballard a call and told him about her situation. The latter didn't have anything against her decision. He even told her to rest well.
"Don't overthink things and don't put yourself under so much pressure. Since I'm here, then I'll definitely
help you deal with the Venomous Insect within Sean's body."
After hearing those words, Molly felt warm inside. The unease that she had been feeling for the past
few days dissipated a little as well.
