Molly didn't expect the children to talk back in such a way. She felt like she was lifting a stone and
dropping it on her own feet.
Seeing that Molly was rendered speechless by the children, Sean chuckled. A grin even appeared on
his face.
He had no intention of helping Molly out.
Molly felt her ears burning and mouthed to Sean sulkily." Stop laughing!"
Sean was smiling even more after seeing that.
Molly felt both awkward and helpless. All she could do was be honest with the children. "It's all a
misunderstanding, my babies. I am your mommy."
Her voice returned to normal as she said those words.
The children on the other end of the line were all stunned.
The voice that they heard was obviously their mommy's.
The children blinked their eyes and stared at the woman on the screen suspiciously. "You're our
mommy?"
Molly quickly nodded her head. "That's right.""No way!" Anger appeared on Ben's little face as he shouted, "You look nothing like our mommy! Don't
think you can fool
us!"
'Oh oh! Things are getting out of hand!1 thought Molly.
She didn't know whether to laugh or cry. ' Babies, I'm really your mommy, I'm serious. I've just changed
my looks.
Besides..." Molly chuckled and continued feeling a little embarrassed, "I was just kidding with you."
The three children looked at each other with suspicious looks on their faces.
"You're not lying to us?" asked Claudia.
"I'm not.’ Molly shook her head.
She then said all the children's favorite food before the children fully trusted her.
Just when Molly wanted to breathe a sigh of relief, Alex's voice sounded from the other end of the line.
"Mommy, you're so childish. You scared the hell out of us. Don't do that next time!"
"That's right. We thought Daddy was cheating on you with someone else."
"You were going too far just now, Mommy."
The three children each complained to Molly.
Molly felt like she was a student who had done something wrong.
"I'm so sorry, my babies. I won't do it next time."Molly kept on apologizing. She even held her hand up to swear.
"There won't be a next time, Mommy!" Alex reminded her.
Molly replied with a smile, "That's right. I promise there won't be a next time."
She then dragged Sean over and said unhappily, "Shouldn't you be saying something to help me out?"
She felt that Sean shouldn't just be sitting to one side and watching the show.
Sean cocked his brows and smiled meaningfully. "You were ruining my reputation. You deserve this. I'm
not going to help."
Molly's face immediately turned red. "I was just wanting to tease them..."
She didn't know that things would get out of hand.
Seeing what was happening, a smile appeared on Sean's face. He pinched Molly's face and said
dotingly, "This will teach you to behave next time."
After saying that, Sean took the phone and asked the children, "Have you been behaving yourselves at
home?"
"Daddy's voice but a stranger's face?'
The three children looked at the face on the screen for a while before asking, "You've changed your
looks as well, Daddy?"
"Yep!"Claudia sized him up and said with a serious face, "Daddy's so handsome, but I still think Daddy's
original look is better."
"I agree." Alex and Ben nodded in agreement.
"The same goes for Mommy as well," Ben added.
Sean smiled. "Our looks at the moment are only temporary. Well return to our original looks soon."
"Okay. It's so extraordinary though."
The three children were interested in how Molly and Sean were able to change their looks, so they
asked a ton of questions.
Sean talked to them for quite a while before hanging up.
