Sean did not want to argue with Alice on this, so he steered his wheelchair and left.
However, Alice was not going to end the conversation there.
"Stop right there. Are you planning to let that woman's b*stard children inherit everything our family owns? Not only me but your
father and grandfather would never allow this to happen!"
Alice started lashing out after she got mad, and her words made Sean frown.
However, Sean responded calmly, "Mrs. Anderson, there's no need for you to get so worked up about this.
"I'll handle grandpa myself."
"Your grandfather takes his bloodline and principles very seriously. He’s never going to say yes to this. Besides, everyone else in
our family is eyeing the position you hold now. You're only going to get yourself in trouble if you act so rashly like this. She's not
worth it." Alice continued to persuade Sean, but Sean did not give her a chance.
He was cold and even his expression became indifferent. "That’s enough. I'll take care of it."
Sean did not stay in the Anderson Residence and left directly after saying those words.
Alice slammed the table again while she watched him leave.
The dinner ended unhappily for both of them because of that.
Sean went back to Terahis Grove, and he saw Molly playing with the triplets. He did not bring up what
happened in the Anderson Residence just now after seeing how much fun they were having.
He did not want Molly to be bothered by his family, but somebody else thought otherwise.The next morning, Alice took her chance after Sean went to the office.
The doorbell rang in Molly's house. Molly opened the door and saw Sean's butler.
"Hello, Ms. May. Mrs. Anderson would like to have some tea with you. There's something about you
that she wants to talk to you about."
The butler was very courteous.
Molly was a little confused.
'Mrs. Anderson is Alice Holmes.'
It had been some time since she last met with Alice, she had no idea why Alice would want to see her
again.
"Sure. Please give me a moment. I'll be there in a while." Even though Molly did not like Alice very
much, she did not want to embarrass her. Then, she went to Sean's mansion after getting changed.
Alice already got someone to prepare the tea. She wore a dress that fitted her perfectly, adn she looked regal and refined. At the
same time, her attitude felt unapproachable.
Molly threw her a glance and walked inside.
Alice did not beat around the bush with Molly. After seeing Molly, she directly said, "Ms. May, I asked you here because there's
something I want to tell you. I know about the research laboratory by the hillside. That laboratory was invested by the Anderson
Cooperation, so I believe that we have the right in making decisions. I'll be frank with you; I want Sharon to work in that
laboratory."
Molly was a little surprised after hearing what Alice said. Then, she replied, "Mrs. Anderson, you can just tell my boss, Mr.
Anderson, about this. There's no need to go through me."What Molly said reminded Alice of how she argued with Sean during dinner last night. So, she sounded even more unhappy. "
Sean said that you're the person in charge."
That was when Molly finally knew why Alice wanted to see her.
Molly was a little surprised, she did not expect that Sean would really let her be in charge.
Molly did not reject Sean's kindness since he trusted her enough to make her own decisions. So, she accepted Sean's offer
instantly.
