The sky was gray, and it was drizzling in Xesxia.
Molly went to the laboratory after she arrived at Xesxia according to the address Jadon provided her with. Then,
she dialed a number on her phone.
"Is this Ms. May?” A young woman's voice could be heard on the other side of the phone. "Please hold on. I'll
come outside to meet you in just a second!"
Then, the call ended.
Molly looked inside the laboratory and saw a few staff walking back and forth in their big white coats.
After a while, a girl in the same white coat walked toward her while removing her coat. "Ms. May, nice to meet you!
You're finally here! My name is Lynn Wilson, and I'll be your assistant in this laboratory from now on.
Lynn stretched out her right hand politely as she said that. She had a high pony, and she looked very
approachable while smiling.
Molly smiled and shook hands with her. Then, Lynn put Molly's luggage aside and gave Molly a tour of
the laboratory. She had also introduced Molly to other people working there.
Molly looked all over the laboratory and observed everything that was going on inside. She found that
not only was the laboratory well equipped with high-tech machines from overseas, but the team
members were also graduates of some famous institutes...
It was pretty good!
Unfortunately, that team did not have a backbone.Everybody there was like a lost sheep without a leader to guide them. Even though all of them were
working, their progress was extremely slow.
It was then Molly realized the reason why Jadon kept persuading her to come over.
Indeed, she would not have much of a problem leading this team with what she was capable of.
"Ms. May, that's pretty much everything about our laboratory. It's not huge, but we're planning to
expand it in the future! So, we're partners with Xesxia University, and we're specialized in virology. I
heard that you've achieved great things in this field, and we hope that we can learn something from
you!"
Lynn said amicably and politely. Molly could tell that she was a cheerful person.
Molly loved to mix around with cheerful girls, so she happily replied, "Okay. We'll learn and look out for
each other, then!"
After that, Molly checked in at a hotel in Xesxia and officially entered her working mode.
The people working in the laboratory got on the right track very soon after Molly started leading them.
Other than that, Molly would organize a weekly meeting to share their research summary. She would
also help them to analyze the researcher's strengths and weaknesses so that they could improve for
the better.
Everyone in the laboratory had tremendous growth in a very short time under Molly's leadership.
"Okay, that's it for today. The meeting will end here if none of you have any more questions."
In the evening, Molly turned around and left after the meeting ended."Ms. May, wait for me!"
Lynn approached her from behind and passionately asked, "Ms. May, you're so amazing. You've taught me so
many things these days. I wonder if you would be free tonight, so I can treat you to a meal?"
"Treat me to a meal?"
"Yeah! Not just me, but a lot of our colleagues want to hang out with you too."
Molly was a little shocked, but she smiled and rejected her politely anyway. "Maybe next time. We don't always get
to leave work early, so I would like to spend the night calling my kids."
