Sylvia was silenced. She tried to push him away, but he deftly pulled her hands to the side and pinned
her down.
He kissed her for a while before he released her lips, but his body remained on top of her. His deep
eyes were like a wolf searching for its prey in the dark. He grinned and said in his deep voice, “I can’t
sleep either. Why don’t we do a little exercise?”
Sylvia’s face blushed. She knew exactly what ‘exercise’ meant.
She sighed exasperatedly and said, “I couldn’t sleep just now, but I’m starting to feel sleepy…

He silenced her with a kiss before she could finish.Back at Coastrock City’s seaside hospital, Sherry sat by the window with her phone, scrolling through
social media with a blank state of mind. She had been sleeping since the day, so even though it was

She tapped on it and saw an entire paragraph typed out by her friend, and when she went through it,
her expression changed multiple times.
Madam Stockton had woken up? She even played along with Queenie to expose Julie?
Julie was the mastermind behind everything, and she had done it because she was secretly in love
with John.
Every word in the text was a shocking revelation to her. She knew that Julie was not as kind and gentle
as she appeared, but her being secretly in love with John was something out of her expectation.
Julie even plotted the entire scheme to remove her from John’s side.
Sherry’s chest heaved strongly. She was at a loss for words after learning the truth.
Just a moment ago, her mind was still troubled by the fact that Madam Stockton was bedridden and the
fire that almost took her life. Now, she learned that Madam Stockton had recovered and Julie was the
one who had tried to kill her with the fire.
She also learned that it was not a coincidence that she ran into Mason in the park the other day, and

She continued reading and saw another text from Sylvia.
A while later, she smiled and scoffed.
It was great that Madam Stockton had recovered, but it was impossible for her to go back to John now.
Even if it was all Julie’s plan, it did not deny John’s distrust in her, and she could not forget the year-
long imprisonment.
If Carl did not save her in time, she might already be dead because of Julie’s plan and John’s distrust.
