Sherry slept on the couch the entire night.

It was Queenie’s scream that jolted her up on the second morning

The moment Sherry opened her eyes, she saw Queenie storming in with Hailey, seemingly ready for a
fight.

Sherry rubbed her eyes and sat up straight.

Queenie stood in front of her with her eyes bulging. “Tell me, who is the man you cheated on my
brother with?”

Sherry was left speechless. She thought the girl came asking for a fight. She laid back down with her
eyes closed. “Someone you don’t know.”

“Tell me, and I’ll know.”

“Even if I tell you, you won’t know.”

“Sherry, stop beating around the bush! Tell me who he is!” She pulled Sherry up from the couch.

Sherry was forced to sit straight. She asked, “Why do you want to know?”

“I want to know who the man is. I want to know if he is more handsome or more capable than my
brother.”

Sherry shut her eyes and said, “He’s not as handsome or

as capable as your brother.”



“Then, why did you fall for him?”

A short hesitation later, Sherry answered, “Maybe I’m a bitch. That’s why.”

“Sherry! Can you speak properly?! Open your eyes!”

Sherry opened her eyes and curled her lips. “You really want to know who he is?”

Queenie stared at her. “Yes. Tell me.”

“Bring me to my quarters, and I’ll tell you.”

“Why do you want to go back to your quarters?” Queenie asked.

“I don’t want to stay here. I want to go back.”

Queenie frowned. “No. John won’t let you out of this building. There’s someone watching you outside,
so I can’t just bring you away.” “Get me a ladder, and I’ll climb out.”

Queenie was left speechless.

Hailey was confused too. “Sherry, this place is a lot better than your quarters. Why do you want to go
back?” “This place reeks of that bastard. I don’t want to be here.”

Queenie widened her eyes. “Sherry, stop calling my brother a bastard, or I’ll slap you!”

Sherry chuckled. “Alright, alright. But if you get me a ladder, and I can get back to the quarters, then I’ll
tell you the guy’s name. I’ll even give you his address.”

Queenie’s eyes gleamed. “For real?”

Sherry maintained the same expression and continued,” For real. I’d be a bitch if I lied to you.”



Queenie looked at Hailey who nodded.

It was just a ladder for her to climb back to the quarters, and since the premise was crowded with
bodyguards, there was no way she could escape, hence nothing would happen.

Queenie agreed. “Alright. It’s a deal. But now is not the time. It’s too obvious. I’ll come to get you at
night.” Sherry grinned. “It’s a deal then.”

Queenie grunted. She glared at Sherry one last time before she went out.

Hailey followed her out but came back with a cart after a

few minutes. Several plates of gourmet dishes were placed on the cart, and every one of them looked
delicious.

Sherry’s eyes shimmered. She smiled at Hailey and said, “ Thank you, my dear.”

“Don’t thank me. Ms. Queenie asked me to bring them to you,” Hailey said as she pushed the cart to
the dining table.

It was then Queenie’s voice rang out from outside,“ Hailey, what are you doing inside ? Stop talking to
her, and come out right now!”

“I’m coming!” Hailey answered immediately. She turned to Sherry and said, “You help yourself. I have
to go now.” She then strode out of the door.
