Chapter 1212 Mason wore a look of pain and betrayal, his voice became hoarse as he expressed his
sorrow, “Sherry, didn’t you tell me that you were traveling at the time?”

Sherry could feel her body stiffening , she clenched her hands into fists.

She took a deep breath to stifle her contempt for the man.

She could not look at Mason and only glared at John.

John smiled cunningly, even now he was oozing charisma.

Sherry rushed in front of John in an instant and grabbed him by his collar. She stood on her tiptoes so
she could face and challenge him, “John, you bastard! I’ll kill you if you keep running your mouth and
talking about things like that!”

John smirked, “I don’t believe you, why don’t you prove it to me?”

Sherry raised a fist immediately.

That was when Peter along with several bodyguards charged in from the other rooms connected to the
living rooms.

They were rushing into the living room from all angles.

It was quite the scene that immediately alerted Shannon

and Celine who had been keeping guard outside the courtyard the entire time.

They rushed to the scene as well.



Upon seeing John in the living room, Shannon’s face turned horridly pale, “Jo… John, why are you
here?”

John ignored her and continued fixing his attention on Sherry, “So, are you still going to hit me?”
Sherry’s fist was stuck in midair.

John smiled and said softly to her, “If you’re not going to start, then I’ll do the honors.”

Sherry was thrown off guard by what was happening.

The very next second, she felt a hand pressed against her waist, her entire body was flung sideways.

She shove him away immediately and howled, “Let go of

me!”

John merely scoffed and increased his strength instead.

Sherry was subdued without much effort, her hands were pressed behind her back and in his clutches.

Meanwhile, Mason tried to rush to her rescue upon seeing what was happening but was quickly cut off
by two bodyguards.

Shannon tried to rush to them as well but was quickly dissuaded by the bodyguards too.

Mason screamed urgently, “John, let her go! She has the money to settle the debt she owes you, she’s
not your servant anymore! Let her go!”

Shannon looked at John with her eyes glowing red,“ John, she’s my sister! People are going to get the
wrong idea if you do this, please let her go, won’t you?”

John looked at Sherry whose face was flustered and burning red, he hardly spared a look at the others.



He laughed smugly and accused her, “Sherry, how dare you sneak around and meet another man
without my permission, what do you think I should do to you?”

Sherry was furious, “Bah! What I do doesn’t concern you at all. It’s none of your business even if I went
out and saw a hundred different men, now let me go you scum!”

“Oh, haven’t you forgotten? You are still my servant.”

Sherry glared at him, “Let me go already!”

John wrapped his arms around her and refused to let go. Instead, he only drew his handsome face
closer to her and repeated, “I won’t let go.”

Sherry, “…You-”

He pressed his lips against hers.

Sherry grimaced viciously and glared at him after the kiss.

John was amused, “What, are you done already?”

Sherry gritted his teeth and glared at him.

He suddenly turned away.

At last, he had turned his wretched face away from Sherry, even if just briefly.

Sherry seized the opportunity and declared, “It was you who said that you would let me go as soon as I
repay the debt of eight hundred million to you. Here’s the money, now fulfill your end of the promise
and let me go!”

John glanced at the envelope Sherry clenched onto tightly the entire time she was being tossed about,
then he shot a look at Peter.

Peter approached immediately and took the envelope out of Sherry’s hand.

He opened the envelope and revealed a stack of cheques inside it.

He went through them one after another before turning to John, “Master Stockton, these add up to
eight hundred million.”

John suddenly frowned with ice in his eyes.
