Sherry kicked over the chair she had sat in all afternoon and walked out.

John frowned. “Where are you going?”

She ignored him, opened the door, and stormed off.

John glanced at Peter. “Go have a look.”

John looked at him. “Where did she go?” Did she rush into the elevator to find Caprice?

Peter replied, “She went straight to her car and left.”

When the car took her back to the hotel, her mood calmed down a little. She got out of the car and
walked into the hotel with her hands in her pockets.

She planned to order takeout and then think of how to meet Caprice.

Unexpectedly, she saw Carl just as she walked into the hotel.



Sitting on the sofa, he wore leather boots, a long black leather coat, and sunglasses on top of his head.

Caprice had woken up long ago and was playing a game with his secretary. When she saw him
