When the men approached, Roland bolted up.

His towering figure coupled with his frosty look made him look intimidating.

It felt like one more step closer and he could physically hurt them.

The men saw the look on his face and were deterred.

They were all executives of the company, which made them Decker’s subordinates. Although they did
not respect Roland, who was not favored by Young Master Rockwell, they witnessed how ruthless he
was in the past two months.

It would be a bad idea to try to provoke Roland.

However, simply leaving would make them look like cowards.

They exchanged a quick look and the leading man, a man with a bloated stomach, said with a smile,
“Master Rockwell, what are you doing? We’re just curious what your girlfriend looks like, that’s it.”

“Yeah. We won’t do anything to your girlfriend.”

Roland glared at all of them.

They instinctively avoided his gaze.

Roland said, “You people have one minute to disappear from my sight.”

The men’s expressions shifted. They all looked at him with an unfriendly gaze.

“Master Rockwell, your words are a little disrespectful.”

“Yeah. What if we insist on staying? What can you do?”



They disregarded Roland openly.

If they already disregarded Roland in public, one could imagine how bad it would be back at the
company.

Isabel frowned. She reached out to the empty bottle underneath the table.

She wanted to smash it into the man’s face.

Then, Roland said coldly and menacingly, “You can try.”

Roland stood straight, his eyes frosty.

The men immediately thought of the things Roland did at the company in the past two months and how

Not even Decker could successfully expel him from the company. Roland must have some tricks up his
sleeve.

It had been over two months and Roland had not started his revenge on Decker.

“Come on, Master Rockwell, we’re just kidding with you. It’s getting late, let’s not disturb Master
Rockwell and his little girlfriend,” one of the middle-aged men responded to the situation quickly.

He then said to his colleagues, “Let’s just leave him alone. We all work for the same company, if
something unhappy happens between us, how are we going to work together in the future?”

Someone echoed, “Yeah. Let’s go.”

“Master Rockwell, good night.”



Even though some of them remained aggrieved, the others dragged them out of the restaurant.

Everything returned to normal.

Isabel released the bottle, took off her mask, and looked at Roland.

Roland looked at her. He spotted worry on her face. His lips pursed as he said softly, “Are you alright?
Do you want to go somewhere else?”

Isabel curled her lips at him. “It’s okay. The food here is nice. Let’s just continue.”

“Alright.” He sat back down and continued eating.

After a momentary peace, Isabel was still bugged by the unhappy encounter earlier. She asked, “Who
were they?”

“The executives of the company.”

“Are they all Decker’s men?”

“Yeah.”

Isabel frowned.

Roland spotted her grumpy look and said softly, “Isabel, I know how to deal with them. It’s just not the
time yet. Don’t worry about me.”

Isabel was relieved. She asked, “Can you tell me about the plan? How do you plan to take the
company back?”
