Unfortunately, there were only four seats on the bamboo raft. Aunt Tonya immediately said, “I’ll get
seasick, so I won’t join the ride. You guys can go on.” Sylvia knew that Aunt Tonya was trying to give up
her seat, so she put her life jacket on Aunt Tonya. “Aunt Tonya, this is a bamboo raft, so you won’t get
seasick. Grandmother and you can ride with the children. I’ll wait here for you.” Aunt Tonya could not

The long bamboo raft soon drifted away from the shore under the guidance of the boatman, rowing
