"Do you have any other questions?" he asked her suddenly.

pursed his lips and glanced in the direction of the door.

Goodnight.” With that, she withdrew her hand and walked out of his bedroom, feeling satisfied with how

The bedroom descended into silence after she left.

Roland stood unmoving in his original spot and looked in the direction of the door where Isabel had just
walked out.

After a long silence, he sniggered to himself.

A drop of water trickled off the tip of his hair and flowed down the defined shape of his jaw to his chin.



Underneath his mask of calmness, he was trying his best to suppress the wildness inside of him.

Isabel went to the living room and drank two glasses of water in one go, then she went back to her
