Nelson trailed closely after them.

After they got out of the elevator, they headed straight for the car.

get some rest as well, make sure you take the medicine the doctors prescribed you.”

Sherry avoided his gaze and answered dismissively, “I know, you can leave now.”

John smiled faintly. “Good night.”

With that, he turned and walked out.

Sherry swiftly headed back to the bedroom. She took the anti-inflammatory drugs prescribed by the
doctor, then fell asleep with Caprice in her arms.

The man walked out of the apartment and walked to the opposite hotel with Jason.

He asked sharply, “Where are those thugs?”

Jason reported, “After they ran off, I had two of our men tail them just as you have instructed. They’re
terrified and are hiding in a shady old district on the outskirts of the city, trying to lay low until the entire
thing blows over.”

John had everything planned out. “Keep an eye on them. Get a few more men together and have them
spy on Ron, Aiden, and Caden as well.”

Jason answered swiftly, “Alright, I’ll have it arranged right away.”

John made a look and walked across the road.

The moon cast its brilliant glow on his face, something unusually vicious and sinister was hidden

He was going to make sure they got what they deserved for hurting Sherry.

Sherry’s thigh had recovered considerably throughout the night, there was only some light swelling and
lingering soreness.
