“I’m thirsty,” John announced suddenly.

routine inspection and had only just left as well. She suspected that John was doing this intentionally to
get on her nerves.

“I just happened to feel thirsty now,” John explained with an air of innocence about him.

Reluctant as she was, she ended up pouring him a glass of warm water. She took the glass and

approached the bed where she carefully set it down on the bedside table.



She turned around and prepared to head back to her seat.

That was when she felt his arm gripping tightly onto her wrist. Before she could react, she was pulled
into the bed.
