Chapter 730

The flight attendant saw her stomach and asked gently,“ Madam, it’s snowing outside. Do you need me
to help you get to the shuttle bus?”

“No, thank you.” The woman thanked her politely before walking down. She took each step down the
stairs steadily as she headed towards the shuttle bus at the airport’s exit.

The bus was heated.

It was warm inside, and someone offered their seat to her not long after she got on.

She thanked the person and sat down.

The shuttle bus moved steadily along the road.

After a while, the man who had given up his seat for her answered a phone call. The conversation on
the other end of the call could not be heard, but the man hurriedly replied, “Okay, Dad. I know Master
Carter and Miss Springsteen are getting engaged tonight, and I don’t want to miss their ceremony
either, but there’s only this flight today. I just got off the plane and will rush over immediately. Don’t
worry. I’ll be there in half an hour.”

After that, he ended the phone call. Sensing something , he glanced down and encountered a pair of
eyes that were filled with shock and disbelief.

“Madam, why are you looking at me like this?” He asked in confusion.

“You said Master Carter and Miss Springsteen are getting engaged. The Master Carter that you
mentioned… Is it Odell Carter?” The woman’s voice trembled.



The man smiled and said, “Yeah, is there another Master Carter in Westchester City?”

The woman lowered her head and clenched her fists.

The man sized her up and asked, “Why are you asking about this? Are you also rushing to attend
Master Carter and Miss Springsteen’s engagement ceremony?”

The woman was silent for a while before saying yes.

The man smiled. “Are you going alone?”

“Yeah.”

“Since we’re heading the same way, why don’t we go together?”

“Okay, thank you.”

While they were talking, the shuttle bus stopped steadily.

The woman got up and got down from the vehicle.

When she walked to the car door, a gust of wind blew past and blew her hat and mask off.

Her face, as fair as snow, was revealed.

“He didn’t come back.”

A hint of disappointment flashed through the man’s eyes.

This woman radiated a sad aura. He thought that perhaps she had come back after a divorce.

He quickly handed over his business card and said, “My name is Zach Hadwin. What’s yours?”

The woman took his card and replied, “My surname is Ross.”

“Ross?”

“Sylvia Ross.”

Zach smiled and said, “It’s a good name.”

A corner of Sylvia’s lips lifted, but she said nothing.

At Westchester Hotel, the biggest hall had been booked for the ceremony. The lights shone down in the
hall, and there was expensive wine everywhere.

However, the ceremony should have started half an hour ago, but the main couple had not arrived yet.

The Springsteen family and the hotel’s person-in-charge explained that there were some problems with
the hotel’s broadcast equipment, and they needed to repair it. They calmed the guests down.

confused, they did not show it on their faces.
