Chapter 1232 “No, thanks. Sherry is reading, and I don‘t want to disturb her,” Shannon declined.

Julie looked towards Sherry‘s window. The window was open, which allowed her to see Sherry reading
a book. Her gaze
slightly changed. She maintained the smile and said to Shannon, “Alright. I‘ll go by myself.”

Shannon nodded and saw Julie walk inside.

She took a deep breath and left the employee‘s dorm.

A few steps later, Julie turned around and saw Shannon disappearing from her sight. She grinned and t
hought,‘ Shannon , I‘m looking forward to how you are going to make Sherry disappear from the Stockt
ons‘.‘

John came by around four o‘clock in the evening that day.

Sherry was soundly asleep and did not even notice the creaking door. She only opened her eyes when
she felt the intense pressure on top of her, making it difficult to breathe. Before she could make a noise
though, he sealed her mouth with a violent kiss and ravaged her body at will. Sherry furiously clawed
his back, leaving her frustration

on his skin.

As revenge , he left multiple love bites around her neck.

After the intense love–
making session, he restrained her in his arms and lay on her pillow. He showed no
signs of leaving even after venting his sexual desire on her.



His alcoholic stench assaulted her nose, and it reminded her that it was time for him to leave. “You sho
uld leave.”

He hugged her and regulated his breathing. Sherry pushed him away and raised her voice at him,“ You
should LEAVE!”

“Don‘t move,” he said gruffly and tightened his embrace around her.

Sherry frowned.

Before she could say another word, however, he continued, “I‘ll leave after I get a little rest.”

He sounded exhausted and his tone felt like he was trying to calm her down.

Finally , Sherry pursed her lips and obeyed his will. She fell asleep after a while though.

The curtains blocked the brightening sky outside.

Some time later, the man
opened his eyes in the dim room. He turned to see her sleeping by his side, and it softened his gaze. H
e stared at her affectionately for a

while before he got up.

He got dressed properly and had one last glance at her before he walked out.

The room returned to silence again.

Two hours later, knocks at the door notified the sleeping Sherry that it was time for breakfast.

She rubbed her eyes as she sat herself up.



The bodyguard opened the door.

To her surprise, it was Shannon who brought her breakfast instead of Emerence.

“Thanks. I‘ll just have a word with my sister,” Shannon said to the bodyguards with a smile.

However, her smile faded immediately as soon as she came in and saw Sherry naked on the bed.

Sherry yawned. “What are you doing here?”

Shannon stared at the love bites around her neck and her eyes bulged because of her boiling anger. “Sh
it‘s John who did this?”

Shannon was silenced and choked on her words.

“Hmph. What a little bitch,” Sherry said.
