Caprice said, “I like to sleep.”



“Sleep? That’s it? Is there anything else?” Sherry asked.

Caprice simply hummed a reply.

“Do you like to play games?”

Caprice shook her head. The girl seemed like a quiet person. She even walked and ate slower than
other kids, so it was not surprising that she did not love games.

Sherry stroked her cheeks. “Are you sleepy now?”

Caprice shook her head.

Sherry nodded. “Then, why don’t I tell you a story?”

and hummed a reply.

Sherry took off her jacket and carried her daughter to bed.

Caprice leaned on her chest and stared at her with her crystal–clear eyes. She was captivated by the

the couch lazily as he listened to the voice next door.
