Chapter 983

Skylar had already given instructions the night before about how she wanted the room
prepared for the therapy session.

All the necessary items had been prepared in the storage room on the second floor.

The storage room had no windows and when the door closed, it was as quiet
as if all connection with the outer world was cut off.

There were two chairs inside.

Sylvia sat opposite Skylar.

With a warm smile on her face, Skylar softly said, “Ms. Ross, please relax.”

Worthy of her title as a psychologist, she could sense Sylvia‘s nervousness.

Sylvia smiled. “I‘ll try.”

She was a little nervous but she tried her best to suppress it.

She took a deep breath to calm her thoughts.

to chant in a foreign language. It sounded like some incantation but thankfully to Skylar‘s soft voice, it
did not irritate her ears.
