around John’s neck.

John looked at her, slightly troubled. “But Daddy has to go to the hospital today to see your grandma.”

Caprice might be a child, but once she fixed her mind on something she would not give up easily. “I
want to go with you, I want to see Grandma.”

John was moved by this and smiled. “Sure.”

After breakfast, they went out of the courtyard just in time to see Julie approaching.



Julie was planning to keep Caprice company today, so she was quite surprised when she saw both
Caprice and John stepping out of the courtyard. She promptly asked, ” Are you going to take Caprice
with you?”

John frowned faintly. “Yes, Caprice wants to follow me. I’ll take her to the hospital to see Mom, I won’t
have to trouble you to keep an eye on her today.”

“Alright.” Julie thought for a while, then she added, “I don’t have anything to do today anyway, why
don’t I go to the hospital with you two?”

“Sure.”

John had no opinion, he entered the car with Caprice after that.

Julie followed into the backseat and sat next to John.

heart was thumping furiously against her chest and she could not stop stealing glances at him.

John barely noticed.

He was busy helping Caprice put on her shoes that had fallen off at one point.
